The Seminole Prevention Coalition is a community-wide coalition that connects non-profit, governmental, community-based organizations, local businesses and citizens to strengthen Seminole County youth and families through the promotion of effective community coordination and collaboration. Through research, consensus building and the coordination of resources, Seminole Prevention Coalition takes a leadership role in improving the quality of life for youth and families.

Seminole County’s coalition has evolved from Seminole Chemical Awareness Network in 1987, to Orlando Fights Back, Seminole Hope and now SPC. Collaboration from all sectors of the community to plan and implement strategies is essential to have effective change and reduce the harmful effects of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs, delinquency, and other social/behavioral issues.

Mission Statement: To strengthen Seminole County youth and families through the promotion of effective community coordination and collaboration.
